Six guiding principles
set the standard for
everything we do.

We believe it’s important to follow key principles, and we’ve set these out as part of our organisational philosophy and mission. They’re represented by a series of six statements:

  1. The people we support are individuals and their needs are paramount.
  2. Our focus is quality care, and the well-being of those in our care.
  3. We will comply fully with the letter and spirit of the laws, regulations and ethical principles that govern us.
  4. We will be good neighbours and community members, doing all we can to benefit our society and environment.
  5. We will provide excellent conditions for our staff, together with opportunities for career development. In turn we expect and achieve exceptional levels of dedication and continuity.
  6. We will continuously improve the quality of our services to promote the quality of life of those in our care and to meet the needs of those commissioning our work.
