A joint team of NobleCare managers and service users have partnered with the Worcestershire training provider Train2Succeed to offer students an insight into the care of people with learning disabilities. Throughout 2014 the team have provided training sessions on a “day in the life of a learning disability service” and “key attitudes and beliefs for a successful career in care”.
Home manager Martyn Crookston said “we have a responsibility as a high quality care provider, to equip the carers of tomorrow with the skills they need to meet the changing needs of people with learning disabilities. After rigorous assessment of various training providers we decided to partner with Train2Succeed. We have a responsibility to the communities we operate in and give both our time and knowledge without charge”.
