Gloucester House runner up at national learning disability & autism awards

Members of the Gloucester House team attended a day of celebration at the National Learning Disabilities and Autism Show and Awards on 15 May.  The evening saw the National Learning Disability & Autism Awards, an event designed to recognise and celebrate those people and organisations who are providing the best support.  It was a great success for the team  and they were delighted to be runners up in these awards.

The awards were opened by Lord Mayor of Birmingham, The Right Worshipful, Councillor Shafique Shah who was delighted to show his support for the learning disability sector.

The judges for the award found themselves both delighted and inspired by the extraordinary work of all of those they met. “All of those nominated demonstrated leadership, a passion to continually improve their services and a tenacity to get things done and make a difference to people’s lives. While there had to be a worthy winner, the judges would like to congratulate all that were nominated. You were all brilliant!”
