As a Senior Manager, Gurpreet is committed to taking NobleCare forward as a leading specialist provider of care for people with learning disabilities. Gurpreet has led the organisation since 2006, during which time it has grown steadily, adding five residential services and linked supported living services. Gurpreet previously practiced as a GP and worked in mental health for 20 years. Gurpreet regards his primary challenge as developing the quality of NobleCare’s services. He says, “We have demonstrably excellent outcomes and the teamwork here is second to none.” He received his Masters in Business Administration from INSEAD

Mick Callaghan


Operations Manager - find out more

Mick has over 30 years of experience of managing both residential care and supported living services for people with a learning disability. Mick began his career working as a support worker for a small charity organisation before moving on to work for one of the leading housing & care providers in the west midlands where he worked for over 25 years. He had various roles in this company as a Registered Manager with CQC and Locality Manager for services in and around the Birmingham and Solihull area. Mick’s previous services had a reputation for delivering high quality, innovative, service user led support that promoted each individuals potential.

Mick says “Giving people the opportunity to have choice and control over the things that are important to them encourages people to achieve positive outcomes because they are able to live the life they want”.

Martyn Crookston


Registered Home Manager - find out more

As a registered manager, Martyn has been part of NobleCare since its inception and continues to support people with a diverse range of disabilities and needs. He trained and qualified as a nurse which was followed by a 12 year spell in HM Forces. Martyn returned to the care profession in 1993 and has since worked for Scope and as a deputy manager for large care company where he successfully passed his C&G Advanced Management for Care with distinction.  Martyn manages two NobleCare homes. He uses his passion for photography to great effect, including the many images on this website.

Tracy Jenkins


Registered Home Manager - find out more

Tracy joined NobleCare in 2008 after working in the care sector for 6 years. Tracy initially commenced work as a Life Skills Officer and was a two time winner of the NobleCare Care Contribution Award. She brings enthusiasm and energy to her role and progressed through the organisation to become a Registered Manager in 2013. She currently supports adults with very complex needs. Tracy says “I get great satisfaction from care plan reviews, when it is clear that the person has made great progress and has been empowered to fulfil their goals”.

Emma Selwood


Head of HR and Admin - find out more

Emma joined NobleCare in 2012, following her role as Chief Administration Officer at a charity.  Emma started work in healthcare following a period of working in HR roles within the financial recruitment and advertising industries. Working in partnership with care home and service managers, Emma is responsible for the delivery of HR strategy at NobleCare. This helps to support the people we care for and ensures all staff are equipped to deliver exceptional care. Emma’s role also ensures that all people policies and procedures are applied consistently and fairly across the organisation.

Kate Clayton


Operations Manager - find out more

As Operations manager, Kate works alongside  Brona and is responsible for operational matters at NobleCare. Kate has recently joined us having previously worked for a large well-known Midlands care provider.  Kate began her career at a registered care home for adults with learning disabilities and progressed to become a registered manager for complex LD and mental health services.  She has over 20 years experience, skills and knowledge that she brings to the senior management team at NobleCare

She says  “good communication is the key to doing things well. Put the person first -they should be at the centre of everything we do”.

Brona Doyle


Head of Care Referrals - find out more

As Head of Operations & Business Development, Brona is responsible for all operational and relationship matters at NobleCare. Brona joined us in 2009 having spent a 30 year career supporting people with a learning disability. She has earned a reputation as an accomplished professional and 100% of her services are fully compliant with CQC Standards. She began her career at a registered care home for 15 children and adults with learning disabilities and progressed to become a registered home manager for a large well-known care provider.  She says “ In truth I fell into care but enjoyed it from day one. I love the look on the face of a person we look after when they realize they have found somewhere they love living”

Andy Marlor


Registered Home Manager - find out more

Andy has over 8 years of experience working in care ranging from supported living and residential care for people with complex needs to fostering young adults at home. Andy began working in care in South Africa where he did voluntary work for an orphanage. Since moving to England he has loved working in care to support people with disabilities. Andy started as a support worker in Warwickshire and has worked his way up to his current position of Registered Manager.

Andy takes pride in a very person-centred approach and considers It a privilege to be able to play a role in a person’s life that enables them to reach their goals.

Kam Takhar FCA CFA


Finance Manager – find out more

As Finance Manager,  Kam is committed to ensuring sufficient investment is made in people and infrastructure to deliver the highest levels of care to the people we support.  Kam joined us in 2006 after a 10 year career working in senior financial positions for companies in New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong and London. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
